2. Make a list, write down your reasons why you are starting your health journey. Down the road, if you get discouraged, it will help you remember why you started.
3. Accept yourself for who you are, make peace with yourself. Show love, be kind to yourself. The more accepting and gentle you are to yourself, the easier your health journey will be.
4. Be patient, change doesn’t happen overnight. Trust the process and enjoy the journey. Remember, it’s a life time commitment.
5. Mindset is everything. Recognize the efforts you did do, and don’t focus on what you didn’t do. “The body achieves what the mind believes!” –Anonymous
6. Start one Healthy Meal at a time. Replace one unhealthy food you eat with healthy food.
7. Don't skip meals. Skipping meals can lead to extreme hunger and overeating.
8. Drink lots of water. Water Flushes out toxins, boosts immune system, clears your skin, helps with digestion and more.
9. Sleep. Sleep plays a big role in your well-being. It can benefit your heart, weight, it boosts your mood, mind and more.
10. Exercise. Exercise has shown many benefits to our health. Increases energy, lowers the risk of chronic disease, weight loss, makes you happy and so much more.
